Well what can I say its been a fantastic week so far!  The Nouveau dream team got together to help our friend Caroline Monk who had organized a charity event to makeover 4 ladies with cancer.  Read on and find out more...

The event was hosted at the Marriott Hotel and the transformations began at Toni and Guy where top quality wigs were styled to suit each lady, after that Karen Betts began with her magic touch, in a short period of time Karen had created picture perfect brows using her expert permanent makeup techniques it was so amazing to see the transformation and the visible difference it made, sadly due to the effects of chemotherapy the ladies were left with no brows so Karens work I feel had the most impact especially when we saw the look of joy that each lady  expressed.

Like myself Karen finds it's extremely rewarding to be able to provide this kind of service as we feel the beauty industry isn't solely based on vanity it's about restoring confidence and providing a feel good factor. I have to personally thank the ladies who participated they were inspirational and were so at ease that day as they felt Karen Betts is a name you can trust.

Jane Tindall our resident lash expert carefully applied the individual nouveau lashes that gave such a natural enhancement.  The ladies were really given the WOW factor by this procedure!

Last but not least was an application of fresh mineral makeup, this works particularly well as the products are so pure I can apply them straight after Karens procedures as the makeup will actually Heal, Seal and protect the skin.

I have performed many makeovers on ladies who have suffered from cancer and I have to say that fresh minerals is the best product I have ever used for this kind of work, not only does it provide such a radiant finish but it will actually help repair the skin due to the added ingredients in the products these are much the same as many expensive skin care products so the makeup is a treatment in itself. Everyone will benefit from using the fresh mineral brand but to use it in this capacity make my job so worthwhile.
