When Karen Betts read about the sad decline of glamour legend Jo Guest she made it her mission to transform the one time pin-up back to her former stunning self.
With the help of her expert makeover team Karen gave Bournemouth beauty Jo a transformation to remember just in time for her 36th birthday! Jo hit the headlines earlier this year after it emerged she was battling a mystery illness that had wrecked her stunning looks and left her fearing for her health.
But after a day spent in the professional hands of some of the best in the beauty business the model, who shot to fame in the late 1990s, has taken the first steps to recovery.
As Jo is still waiting on blood test results to determine her condition, all treatments arranged by Karen were none invasive.
The glamour star was then given monofibre hair extensions at top London salon Antenna in Kensington and to finish off her day of pampering Karen then applied Fresh Minerals make-up on Jo's face to give her a younger fresher glow. After her makeover a thrilled Jo said: "I can't thank Karen and her team enough. Thank you so much I'm absolutely delighted with the results. It's so lovely of you to do this for me and just in time for my birthday."
She added: "The past 14 months have been an absolute nightmare. I haven't even wanted to leave my house. It was the real boost that I needed. I've been so fed up these past few months and at times I've felt so low I couldn't see a way out. But right now I'm buzzing on life."
And Karen is happy she could help.
She said: "It was really sad to hear what had happened to Jo as she was famous for being bubbly and happy as well as for being a glamour model.
