1/2 Million Reasons to Get Involved with the Leeds 10K!

Jane Tomlinson. One of Jane’s motives was to show that people with a terminal prognosis can still lead an active and fruitful life and proclaimed “Death doesn’t arrive with the prognosis.” She proved beyond all doubt to be true to her word and with her uncompromising drive, unwavering determination and supreme bravery Jane provided true inspiration and genuine hope to a great many people. Following the success of 2007 Leeds 10K, Jane Tomlinson’s Run for All, the organisers were thrilled to launch the 2008 event and open registration to the general public, welcome Morrisons as the main sponsor and announce that the 2007 event raised over £500,000 for charity. We urge you to support Jane's legacy event The Leeds 10k. Details of Jane’s Appeal can be found at www.janesappeal.com and further details of the 10k at www.runforall.com. Mike - Jane's husband - had this to say... “I am very keen to help maintain the focus on Breast Cancer as early detection can lead to a full recovery or at least prolonged life whereas delays bring added risk. Jane would say that she was fortunate in so far as after her prognosis she had several years to enjoy seeing our family grow up and I know how much this meant to her. By raising awareness of the potential problems I hope others families benefit.” Mike Tomlinson
