Monday, 03rd September 2007 - 1:13pm Spas are a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
Spas have been around for millenia and the treatments offered have become more and more advanced. Today, standard treatments offered by Spas are… - Manicures - Pedicures - Waxing treatments - Indian Head Massage/Champissage - Aromatherapy - Colonic irrigation/hydrotherapy - Body wraps - Massage - Hopi ear candles - Chakra balancing - Reflexology - Reiki - Holistic therapies - Swimming pool - Jacuzzi - Steam room - Sauna - Gym room So, can we recommend a spa for you to try? We certainly can!
Eastthorpe Hall. There is nowhere else quite like it, a delightful urban retreat where guests can relax and unwind and let the stresses of everyday life melt away. The reason is that, whether you are just visiting for single treatments or to enjoy one of their many half or full day packages, you can be assured, from the moment you step through the door, that you will be made to feel very welcome and given individual attention throughout your stay.

In fact, they're so good they have reach the final for the 2007 Beauty & Spa Awards!

I cant think of anything better than taking a day off work and spending the entire time relaxing and been pampered from head to toe! I like to travel to many different spas and i love how each and everyone has there own feel and unique experience. Oh and i too have been lucky enough to find www.koko-beauty.co.uk, and i have to say what an amazing little set up Kimberley has there. It isnt just a couch in a front room, she has the most amazing separate treatment room, honestly youd step in there and believe you were in any top spa, trust me iv been to many, The whole cottage is just enchanting and the whole atmosphere is just, well i cant really describe it, you really can switch off, unwind and feel so nurtured. Its in a lovely small village and as its all set to the back of the house, all you can here is birds tweeting, if at all and such a beautiful view of the countryside behind (i had a sneaky peak from the window!)and it really is lovely. I find this such a unique setting, and you really cant get much more of a one to one service here as it really is just you on your own, unless you go along with a friend for pampering together. The quality of service is second to none and the same every time i go, if not better. I dont think such a place should be faulted either from it been a place from home, if the service is professional and some of the best you have experienced and you get the desired outcome then i really dont think it should be snuffed upon, in fact i have been to a few unique settings now that have actually started as been a salon from home, just they had bigger places that were then transformed into day spas and the owners move out, and they too are beautiful places!! Honestly i really cannot fault this place and i think it is the perfect alternative to a day at the spa!Sam says:

Our spa is personable and one to one which is rare in this day and age, we are totally original and often other places will try and recreate what we offer, I think it is a shame as it appears unoriginal and you need to separate yourselves from the competition in this day and age, but, they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - I prefer a world class day spa experience to a treatment couch in someone's front room - regardless of the 'savings' any day,Beth says:

Yes spas are the ultimate place to relax and recharge your batteries! A new spa that is opening soon is The Super Clinic www.thesuperclinic.co.uk in Douglas on the Isle of Man. It will offer a full spectrum of services from cosmetic dental surgery to cosmetic face and body surgery, non surgical rejuvenation treatments and weight loss programs. Having visited the The Isle of Man myself I can assure anyone that it is an experience in itself, allowing you to cleanse your mind and soul and to discover your inner self, finding peace and calm within.
The Super Clinic is the newest extension of the nationally known Tracey Bell who has dental clinics and day spas in the Isla of Man and England, so you know you will be getting experienced, proffesional treatment!I highly recommend this SuperClinic!

I agree spa's can be good however I prefer a more personal one-to one experience. I tend to visit places like www.koko-beauty.co.uk where you can get quality spa treatments like hot-stones massage in pleasant surroundings for far less, which makes a big difference especially in these tough financial times! Just thought i'd add a different view !Joana says:

Hi, this is Joana. I could not agree more. Spas are an excellent place to rewind and relax. The different treatments available, such as manicures, pedicures, waxing treatments and Indian head massage, do leave you blissfully happy and relaxed. However, it is crucially important to take into consideration the quality and standard of the spa health center. For me '<A href="http://healthspaguru.com/">Health Spa Guru</A>' (<A href="http://healthspaguru.com/">http://healthspaguru.com/</A>) is the ultimate website when it comes to spa-related information. The website offers information about spa types, spa products, spa accessories and spa locations. I recommend the same to everyone looking for a perfect spa experience.Leave a Reply
